Texas Woman’s University Celebrates 125th Anniversary with Public Art Commission

Texas Woman’s University in Denton will celebrate its 125th anniversary with a new large-scale public art commission by Bianca Beck, an artist based in Portland, Maine.
Beck’s permanent public artwork will consist of three large-scale, biomorphic, fiberglass sculptures from her ongoing Body Double series. According to a press release, the artwork will align with the three main themes of the Dream Big campaign: “open doors, fuel innovation, and cultivate grit.”
