Biography
Anastasia Bay (b. 1988, Paris, France) received her BA from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, France in 2012. She has had notable solo exhibitions at Galerie Derouillon, Paris, France (2026, 2022); Venus Over Manhattan, New York, NY (2025, 2023); and Sorry We're Closed, Brussels, Belgium (2024, 2021). Her work has been included in prominent group exhibitions at SMAK, Gent, Belgium (2025); Fondation Boghossian, Villa Empain, Brussels, Belgium (2023, 2021); Galerie Derouillon, Paris, France (2023); Venus Over Manhattan, New York, NY (2022); The Pit, Los Angeles, CA (2022); Centre Wallonie Bruxelles, Paris, France (2022); and Spurs Gallery, Beijing, China (2020). Her work is in the collections of the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami; the X Museum, Beijing, China; Musée d'Art Moderne de la ville de Paris, France; and the Fondation Lafayette Anticipations, France, among others. Bay currently lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
